About the Opportunity:
A fully licensed Bistro has been operated during the summer season by the winery for the past several years. The Bistro attracts visitors arriving on the Island by private boat, ferry and seaplane. The Bistro has a 120 seat capacity and features lunches to complement the Island produced wines. The Bistro already has in place lunch packages with Sea Air and Eagle Wing Whale Watching.
For the 2013 season (June-October) the Winery is seeking a qualified person to lease, on financially attractive terms, and operate the Bistro.

The successful candidate will possess experience and skills in operation of a restaurant specializing in lunches and wine pairing, ability to hire and manage staff and responsibility for ordering supplies.

About the Position:
Saturna Island Family Estate Winery is seeking additional professional Wine Sales Representatives who will be interacting with existing clients and creating new accounts by calling new customers from an extensive database of liquor stores, hospitality and entertainment industries. Applicants must have a pleasant and highly professional telephone manner combined with a natural ability to provide excellent customer service. Knowledge of food and wine service industry along with good keyboard skills will provide a distinct advantage. This role will involve representing our portfolio of premium BC VQA wines to most regions in BC and may expand to establishment of sales to other Canadian provinces.
