The Saturna Island Vineyards are situated on a bench of land nestled between the waters of the Pacific and a magnificent soaring sandstone and granite cliff face on the south side of the island. The vineyards are bounded by picturesque Campbell farm and newly designated parkland to the east and Thomson Park and Saturna Beach to the west. There are sixty acres of vines under cultivation in four designated vineyards, which makes Saturna Island Vineyards one of the largest estate vineyard and winery operations in the province.

We have planted specific grape varieties throughout our vineyards that will grow well in our northern Mediterranean type climate. These varietals include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Meunier, Gamay and Muscat.
REBECCA VINEYARD
The oldest vineyard, it was planted in 1995 and produces luscious and fragrant Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Merlot.
The first harvest from this vineyard took place in the fall of 1998. The vineyard is named in honour of the owners' daughter.
ROBYN'S VINEYARD
This vineyard was planted in 1996 and is comprised of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Merlot, Pinot Grisand an experimental row
of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. The first harvest from this vineyard occurred in the fall of 1999. This vineyard
was named after one of the owners.
LONGFIELD VINEYARD
Planted in 1998 and 1999, this vineyard exclusively hosts 12 acres of Pinot Gris. The first harvest and production is expected in the year 2002 and this patch of land has traditionally been called the Longfield by longtime island residents.
This is the last vineyard to be planted and is the largest of all the vineyards. The stunning vista of the ocean, Pender island and the San Juan Islands can be seen from this land, which is also adjacent the winery. The land is situated at the bottom of a majestic cliff, upon which a great number of birds of prey, Peregrine Falcons predominant among them, make their nests. These amazing creatures can often be seen floating in the breeze above the vineyards.
