Our 2006 Vintner’s Select Chardonnay’s aromas are fruity, fresh, and filled with citrus, gooseberry, and a touch of cinnamon. The palate explodes with apricot, peach, apple, and pear, with just a suggestion of nuttiness. This Chardonnay is a great match for poached
halibut, roasted chicken with thyme, or simply prepared BC spot prawns. grilled chicken with thyme.

Our 2006 Vintner’s Select Pinot Noir has a floral, earthy, smoky, cedar-filled nose. The palate is filled with the essence of clove, raspberry, strawberry, and bing cherry. This Pinot Noir is perfectly suited to risotto with chanterelle and porcini mushrooms, simply grilled BC
sockeye salmon, or venison loin with fresh herbs.

Spicy vanilla, tobacco leaf, barnyard, compost, rhubarb, earthy nose. Dry, elegant, fresh palate, but very light. Light buttery, rhubarb, raspberry leaf, compost, mineral, orange peel flavours. Very easy, light style with fresh acidity.

Our 2006 un-oaked Chardonnay truly expresses the purity of our land. It's fresh, clean, and lively character exhibits the very nature of Saturna Island ; unspoiled, spirited, and bright. Our 2006 Chardonnay has spicy vanillin aromas, complemented by pineapple, citrus, and white flower overtones. This chardonnay has gone through 100% malolactic fermentation, and consequently exhibits a beautiful creamy mouthfeel. Flavours of green apple, pear, vanilla, and hazelnut balance the fresh acidity.

This un-oaked Chardonnay is a perfect match with fresh BC halibut and tarragon, steamed Dungeness crab, or grilled pork with mango and basil salsa.

We have hand–crafted a second line of wines which we have called “ Breezy Bay ”. Breezy Bay is our island home, and it conjures up visions of the sea, our beautiful landscape, and our mild climate. This second line is comprised of BC grown wines, blended to perfection in each of white, rosé, and red wines. The 2006 Pinot Gris is a wonderful wine to sip on its own. This wine’s excellent acid structure, however, gives it a crispness that makes for versatile food pairing. Our Pinot Gris pairs beautifully with west coast oysters, fresh goat’s cheese, BC spot prawns, or grilled chicken with thyme and lemon.

Our 2006 Pinot Noir has beautiful aromas of strawberry and raspberry with a hint of rose petal and cinnamon. Its medium body has pronounced strawberry and cherry flavours, with rhubarb, green tea, and plum overtones.
